For the past 20 years, I’ve had the pleasure of supporting good people doing good work.
When you’re incredibly close to an issue you’re passionate about, you can have trouble translating what you’re doing and your impact because you’re too close to it. You’re specialized. When that happens you can’t break through to the outside world because the outside world doesn’t have all the information you do and, realistically, it’ll take too long for them to catch up. Plus, they don’t have the bandwidth to do it.
It’s also easy to get swept up in the how because that’s your area of expertise, but how isn’t what helps move people towards action. It’s emotion, not data, that moves us. You’ve felt this too. Good, solid, and robust data and policy-making are foundational, but until they’re translated into something people can feel, those things stay trapped in a bubble that’s hard to burst.
That’s why I find the human moment and point of connection inside a policy, campaign, or data and build content around it that stirs us.
Services
Story Production
I find the hook inside your raw material (e.g., interviews, footage, ideas that haven't found their shape yet) and build it into something that lands. First-round approvals are common. But the best are the responses. “I am truly lost for words!! …the quality and story told are all wonderful!”
Video Scripts & Creative Direction
Talking head scripts, reel concepts, explainer videos. I write for real people, not talent. You’ll get direction notes so whoever's on camera knows exactly what they're doing. I’ve been in front of the camera so I understand the nerves and vulnerability. My job is help people look and sound their best. I don’t take that responsibility lightly.
Social Media Strategy
News-first content that behaves like a scoop rather than a broadcast. Built around the emotions that research shows drive sharing. My expertise may be in finding the emotional core, but it’s backed up by data and science.
Carousel & Campaign Concepts
Copy built around a single emotional through-line. People swipe or follow to see what happens next.
Campaign Sequencing
Content that builds momentum rather than broadcasting into a void. The right piece, in the right format, at the right moment in the story. It’s an art form.

My Approach
I think about content the way a journalist thinks about a story, the way an author tells it, and the way a director creates a film.
What's the hook? What's the emotional arc? What does the audience feel at the end that they didn't feel at the beginning? Where do they go with that feeling?
Those questions produce work that's strategically sound and creatively alive, meaning it gets talked about.
I've also navigated every major platform shift over the decades. What that gives me is a lot of data that helps inform strong pattern recognition. Meaning: what's trending isn’t necessarily what's lasting. And what's lasting is content driven by emotion, people, and a well-told story.
If this sounds like something your org needs, let’s talk. →
